We both work full-time and are fully committed to being present within our primary organizations. As a result, we only offer a limited number of engagements. The counter on this page indicates how many engagements are available for the rest of this calendar year. Workshops
We are seasoned presenters, facilitators, and teachers who have worked with a variety of learners (4th grade through Graduate School through corporate employees and other adult learners). In all workshop situations, our goal is to use formative assessment strategies—ranging from phone conversations to digital group meetings to surveys—to understand participants’ needs in advance, to adjust our workshop goals and materials accordingly, and to offer support and connection after workshops are complete. In short, our philosophy is to meet participants where they are, move them into zones of proximal development, and then support them as they work to build effective habits.
We offer several different workshop formats: a 3-hour workshop, an 8-hour workshop, or a cohort model wherein we would meet with the same group throughout the year, both face-to-face and digitally.

Through this workshop, we build teaching competencies in teams or organizations. We share 10 high impact, research-based teaching principles and help participants to translate them into existing routines and habits. Blending Leadership: How to Lead in Technology Rich Environments
This workshop is based on the book of the same name. Since its publication, it has become a foundational text at several leadership institutes and graduate school programs. We offer a tour of modern leadership practices, along with a deep dive in selected areas. Typical topics include: becoming a leading voice in your industry, designing spaces to maximize learning and collaboration, running better meetings, the power of sharing, human/computer negotiation, networked leadership, distributed leadership, building cross-functional teams, and advancing mission.

The Modern Support Staff: Becoming an Effective Assistant in the Always-On Workplace
This workshop offers a respectful approach to empowering and training the staff at our schools and businesses. Whether they cover the front desk, serve as schedulers, or support a Head of School or CEO, staff members and respective teams keep our organizations running. Often the first point of contact for customers and partners or parents and students, they help leaders to negotiate complex demands and interactions. And yet, most organizations do not do enough to help them build the beliefs, mindsets, and skill-sets to thrive in today’s ever-changing and increasingly digital workplaces. We tout and support the lifelong learning of our employees and faculties and we encourage them to build networks of professional colleagues. This workshop helps us to do the same for all staffs. This workshop can be tailored just for school staffs, business staffs, or a combination of both.
